Area Overview

What makes Gahunje special

Gahunje is best known for the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, which hosts international and IPL fixtures. Outside match days it is one of the quietest places in this belt.

It sits on the Mumbai–Pune Expressway past Kiwale, at the far western edge of the Pimpri-Chinchwad area, with the Pawana river to the north and hills and farmland in every other direction.

Residential development here is at its very beginning. A handful of gated projects have launched along the highway, but this is farmland with a stadium on it, not a suburb yet.

Why choose Gahunje?

Gahunje should be assessed as land with early development on it, not as a suburb. It has the MCA Stadium, Expressway frontage, the Pawana river and genuinely open country — and the lowest pricing in this belt. But there is no meaningful retail, no hospital, no metro or rail, and Hinjewadi is a thirty-five-minute drive. This suits a long-horizon buyer or someone wanting a farmhouse plot, not someone needing a functioning neighbourhood now.
