Area Overview

What makes Bhujbalvasti Wakad special

Bhujbalvasti is the older, village side of Wakad, on the Tathawade edge away from the main chowks. It is named for the Bhujbal families who farmed here before the suburb existed, and parts of it still read as a village rather than a suburb.

Development came later here than at Datta Mandir or Bhumkar Chowk, and it came unevenly — newer society towers sit directly alongside village housing and open plots.

That mix is the point. It is the cheapest pocket in Wakad, it is quieter than the chowks, and it has more owner-occupiers. It also has the least developed internal roads and the thinnest retail.

Why choose Bhujbalvasti Wakad?

Bhujbalvasti is the cheapest and quietest pocket in Wakad, with more owner-occupiers than the chowk areas, Indira College two kilometres away and village bungalows on private plots that do not exist elsewhere in the suburb. The trade-offs are the least developed internal roads in Wakad, thin local retail, an eighteen-minute Hinjewadi run, and village-side title that needs careful verification.
