Area Overview

What makes Chandivali special

Chandivali sits in the pocket between Powai and Andheri East, built around Saki Vihar Road. It is a township suburb - large gated developments rather than an old village core - and it prices below Powai while sharing much of its infrastructure.

Nahar Amrit Shakti is the anchor, a self-contained township with its own retail, schools and clubhouse. Chandivali Studio, the Saki Vihar office corridor and the SEEPZ and MIDC belts put a large employment base within a few kilometres.

The catch is access. There is no station and no metro inside the pocket; everything funnels through Saki Vihar Road and the JVLR, both of which choke at peak hours.

Why choose Chandivali?

Chandivali is the value play next to Powai. You get township living with a clubhouse, pool and in-campus school at 20–30% below Powai pricing, with SEEPZ and the Saki Vihar offices a short drive away. The trade-offs are real: no station or metro inside the pocket, Saki Vihar Road and the JVLR both gridlock at peak, and there is little of the street life or retail depth you get in the older suburbs.
