Area Overview

What makes Jogeshwari East special

Jogeshwari East runs along the Western Express Highway between Andheri and Goregaon. It is one of the last genuinely affordable pockets this far south on the western line, and Metro Line 7 has changed how it is judged.

The area is a mix: older chawls and colonies around Meghwadi and Majas, redevelopment towers along the highway, and the Aarey Colony green belt on its eastern edge. SEEPZ and the MIDC office belt are a short ride away.

It is a value proposition rather than a lifestyle one. Retail is basic, the internal roads are congested, and much of the housing stock is old — but you are on a station, on the metro and on the highway, at half the price of Andheri West.

Why choose Jogeshwari East?

Jogeshwari East is the affordability play on the western line. You get a station, a Metro Line 7 stop, direct highway frontage and airport access about 5 km away, at roughly half of Andheri West pricing. The trade-offs are a dense, mixed-income streetscape, basic retail, ageing housing stock in the older colonies, and congested internal roads.
