BKC proximity drives demand

Area Overview

What makes Khar East special

Khar East sits between the Western line and the Western Express Highway, immediately north of Bandra East. Its defining feature is proximity: BKC’s offices are about 2 km away, and Khar Road station is walkable from most of it.

The area is a mix of long-settled colonies around Golibar and Nehru Nagar, MHADA layouts, and a growing band of redevelopment towers along the highway and near the station.

It trades on access rather than character. Retail is functional, the lanes are dense, and much of the housing is old — but you pay roughly half of Khar West for a shorter commute to BKC.
