Area Overview

What makes Chinchwad special

Chinchwad is the largest and greenest of the four core PCMC towns. It has the belt’s best hospital in Aditya Birla Memorial, a suburban rail station, and residential stock that is generally better built than Pimpri’s.

The Morya Gosavi temple by the Pawana river is the town’s historic centre, and the Chinchwadgaon side still holds the older settlement. Industrial estates sit to the east and north.

It works as a place to live rather than just a place near work — markets, schools, hospitals and open space are all inside the town, and the resident base stays at weekends.
