Godrej estate and mangrove green cover

Area Overview

What makes Vikhroli West special

Vikhroli West is defined by one landowner. The Godrej estate covers a large part of the suburb — the manufacturing works, the staff township at Pirojshanagar, the Godrej One office campus, and a substantial mangrove holding along the creek.

That has kept the belt greener and lower-density than almost anything on the Central line, with tree cover and the Godrej-maintained mangrove reserve to the west along the Thane creek.

Outside the estate sit older colony layouts and the LBS Marg belt. Newer Godrej Properties developments have added modern stock, and the suburb prices above Vikhroli East as a result.

Why choose Vikhroli West?

Vikhroli West is greener and lower-density than almost anything else on the Central line, thanks to the Godrej estate and its mangrove holding along the creek. You get a fast-train station with CSMT in thirty-five minutes, Godrej Memorial Hospital and Udayachal School inside the belt, and Powai eighteen minutes west. The trade-offs are limited retail, no metro station inside the belt, and a large share of land that is estate rather than open market.
