Area Overview

What makes Mulund East special

Mulund East runs from the Central line across to the Eastern Express Highway and the Airoli bridge approach. It is the last Mumbai suburb before Thane, and one of the greenest on the eastern line.

Society housing from the 1970s and 80s dominates, with newer towers along the highway corridor, and the Sanjay Gandhi National Park boundary and the hills forming the western backdrop.

Metro Line 4 runs the highway, and the Goregaon–Mulund Link Road under construction will eventually cut across the park to the western suburbs — the single biggest thing on this belt’s horizon.
