Area Overview

What makes Mahim special

Mahim sits at the hinge of the city, where the island ends and the western suburbs begin. Mahim Junction serves both the Western and Harbour lines, and the Causeway carries traffic straight into Bandra.

It is one of the oldest continuously settled parts of Mumbai. Mahim Dargah, St. Michael’s Church and the Mahim Fort ruins sit within a couple of kilometres of each other, and the Wednesday novena at St. Michael’s still draws queues around the block.

It prices well below Bandra West across the creek while sharing much of the access. The stock is old, the lanes are dense, and the sea face is more working shoreline than promenade.
