Area Overview

What makes Bhayandar West special

Bhayandar West runs from the Western line out toward the coast at Uttan and Dongri, and it is the greener, lower-density half of Bhayandar.

The coastal villages — Uttan, Dongri, Chowk — are old East Indian and Koli settlements that predate the suburb entirely, with churches and fishing jetties still working.

Between them and the station sits the newer society belt. Metro Line 9 is under construction along the eastern side, and the Gorai and Global Vipassana Pagoda jetties are a short drive south.
