Bhandup West runs from the Central line across LBS Marg toward the hills, a dense residential belt with a long industrial history and an active redevelopment programme.
The Bhandup pumping station and the old mill estates shaped much of the layout, and society housing from the 1970s and 80s still makes up most of the stock.
It is the busier and better-served half of Bhandup, with more retail along LBS Marg and Neptune Magnet Mall a short ride north at Bhandup’s border with Nahur.
