Area Overview

What makes Ranjit Avenue special

Ranjit Avenue is the planned, blocked-out residential estate that has been Amritsar’s best address for decades — wide roads, mature trees, lettered blocks, the district courts and the main institutional cluster nearby, and the deepest resale market in the city.

THE ZONE LABEL IS WRONG. This row sits under “Airport Road & Rajasansi” while the sheet has a zone explicitly called “RANJIT AVENUE & GREEN AVENUE” — containing thirty-five other rows and not this one. That is the same defect this project found with Thudiyalur on the Coimbatore sheet and Civil Lines on the Agra sheet.

IT IS ALSO A BLOCKED ESTATE, which the sheet does not capture. Ranjit Avenue runs in lettered blocks that differ materially in price and character, and a listing giving only “Ranjit Avenue” has left out the detail that moves price most — the same issue as Banjara Hills’ numbered roads in Hyderabad.

What is the average property price in Ranjit Avenue?

Purchase prices are typically around ₹14,000–19,000 per sq.ft, with a typical 2 BHK ranging from ₹70L to ₹89L.

What is the rent for a 2 BHK in Ranjit Avenue?

A 2 BHK in Ranjit Avenue typically rents for ₹32,000 to ₹59,000 per month depending on building, floor and condition.

How much should I trust the sales zone on a listing?

Less than the address, and much less than the survey or khasra number. This row is the clearest example on the sheet: the city’s best-known address, filed in a zone that is not the zone named after it. Zone labels are an internal convenience and across this project they have been wrong often enough to be treated as a hint rather than a fact — only one of ten rows on a Gurugram “Sohna Road” zone was actually on Sohna Road, and two Vijayawada rows twenty kilometres east sat in a zone labelled north-west. Useful for browsing, unreliable for anything that matters.

Is Ranjit Avenue suitable for families?

Local CBSE schools operate within 2 km with a local CBSE school about 7 km and Regional international school about 6 km, plus local hospitals about 2 km.

Is Ranjit Avenue a good investment?

Reported price appreciation has been roughly 6–9% per year with rental yields around 3.5–4%. As with any market, actual returns vary and should be checked against current transaction data before investing.

How far is Ranjit Avenue from Amritsar airport?

What are the best nearby alternatives to Ranjit Avenue?
