Area Overview

What makes Parvati special

Parvati takes its name from the hilltop temple complex above it — a Peshwa-era site reached by 103 steps, and one of Pune’s defining landmarks.

The residential belt runs around the hill’s base between Swargate, Sahakar Nagar and the Mutha river, and it is one of the more settled parts of southern Pune.

The hill itself is protected, which limits development on that side and keeps genuine green space and city views within walking distance. Metro Line 1 stations sit about 2 km north at Swargate.

Why choose Parvati?

Parvati combines genuine heritage and green space with real central access: the protected hill on the doorstep, Saras Baug and Peshwe Park within 2 km, Swargate six minutes, Metro Line 1 about 2 km, and Poona Hospital about 3 km. It has a high owner-occupier share and stays quiet at night. Against that: very limited supply, older stock in parts, and yields near 3–3.5%.
