Area Overview

What makes MG Road special

MG Road is Bengaluru’s commercial spine and has been since the cantonment era, when it was South Parade. It runs from Trinity Circle to Anil Kumble Circle, with Brigade Road and Church Street crossing it.

The Namma Metro interchange is here — Purple and Green lines meet at Majestic further west, but MG Road station and the Trinity and Cubbon Park stops make this the best-connected stretch in the city.

Residential stock is genuinely limited. What exists is mostly older apartment blocks and a small number of newer buildings; most people who work here live in Indiranagar, Ulsoor, Richmond Town or Frazer Town.

Why choose MG Road?

MG Road is the best-connected address in Bengaluru — three Purple Line stations along the stretch, Cubbon Park at one end, Church Street and Brigade Road retail on foot, Mallya and St. Martha’s hospitals within 2 km, and four historic schools within 3 km. The catch is supply: residential stock is genuinely limited, and most people working here live in the surrounding neighbourhoods rather than on the road itself.
